Large Businesses That Hate Us and Our God

In last week's Being A Berean, I included a video of Tucker Carlson exposing how the U.S. and Canadian governments are being weaponized to attack Christians. In that video, he named and rebuked several "evangelical leaders" who have not called out these government abuses and have chosen to remain silent. The same day I sent the blog post, a podcast was released from Conversations that Matter discussing the Tucker Carlson segment and giving some very insightful analysis on what he said. I believe this will help you become more discerning regarding "evangelical leaders" who seek media coverage and favor from the world.

One of the strategies of the anti-Christian left has been to influence large corporations to support their liberal, godless causes and oppose biblical Christianity. They exert an oversized influence by threatening these corporations with boycotts and negative media exposure. As would be expected of men and women with no theological convictions, a desire for approval and self-preservation, and a lack of courage, they wither under the threat of being called a racist, homophobe, transphobe, intolerant, or some other smear. So they cave in and promote the wicked, destructive policies advocated by these small, but vocal groups of internet and media activists. They prove the Bible's accuracy in asserting that the fear of man always brings a snare (Proverbs 29:25).
So many large corporations have given in to what is effectively corporate blackmail that it is hard to keep up with them. One conservative opinion writer has compiled a list of the worst corporate offenders, which I've linked to below. As believers we should do our best to avoid giving our business to any of these companies who will then take our money and give it to causes and groups that hate God and want to destroy His church. I hope this will motivate you to shop more wisely.

Following that list of businesses is an example of how one company (Hershey's) is pushing these wicked agendas for no reason except to curry favor with leftist activists, as there is no way their actions will encourage people to buy more chocolate. The only way we can influence these corporations to stop supporting such wickedness is to hurt them financially by refusing to buy their products and services.
