Roman Catholic Heresy | Reformation Dog Training
Bereans:
In observance of the 505th anniversary of the Reformation, I'm sharing a piece from Wretched Radio giving a brief explanation of what is wrong with Roman Catholicism. This short video is an excellent resource to help you brush up on the doctrinal heresies of the Roman church. It's a good refresher as to why we are Protestant, it will help you know how to pray for those who are deceived by Catholicism, and it will equip you to give a brief defense of your faith for anyone who asks or tries to assert that the differences between us are minimal.
We always want to be specific when we refute those who contradict the written Word of God (Titus 1:9). Our celebrations on Reformation Sunday present a great opportunity to remind ourselves, teach our children, and explain to our family and friends how our faith is set apart from the beliefs of Rome.

Reformation Dog Training
On a light, but related note, Trudi and I enrolled in a live, online dog training course. She attended the first session on Wednesday night while I was at BCC Youth. The class was a two hour Zoom session with the trainer and nine other dog owners.
The owners had to introduce themselves one at a time and tell about their dogs. One of the ladies that went before Trudi was the head nun in a Roman Catholic convent. Her name was Mother Mary Virginia, she has a pet German Shepherd in the convent, and a crucifix was prominently displayed behind her.
Trudi introduced herself a short while after Mother Mary. She realized after the session the irony that her (Trudi's) Zoom page has the BCC logo on it (with no Christ on the cross), and she introduced our dogs: Luther and Tyndale (two of the greatest reformers and opponents of false Catholic teachings)! Our Lord definitely has a sense of humor!
Grace and peace to you,
J.W.
